Faith is the most potent force in the universe. All that Christ offers us is delivered through faith; nothing descends from heaven without it. Your entire inheritance in Christ — power, strength, honor, riches, glory, and blessings — is accessible through faith. You only need to draw it out.

When you operate by faith, you align yourself with God’s nature (John 14:17; Mark 9:23; 10:27). Faith empowers you to function in the realm of God; it is your access to divine power and a spiritual means of empowerment. When faith is active, God’s power is released into your life. Each time your faith ignites, virtue flows from God. He is committed to making it happen. Faith is an ever-winning spiritual force (John 5:4; Romans 10:17).

The Source of Faith

Faith is not merely a result of hearing the Word of God; it is more importantly cultivated by hearing from God directly. This connection is the stronghold of faith. The voice of God dispels the doubts of life; when you hear from God, doubt dissipates, infusing you with supernatural faith.

The stronghold of faith grants you access to the voice of God. His voice empowers you to achieve the impossible, think beyond limits, and move obstacles (Exodus 3:7–8). God’s voice is irresistible (Exodus 7:1; Exodus 14:15). If you can access His voice, you are truly free (Acts 4:20). A faith not rooted in God’s voice is destined to be shaky.

How God Speaks

  1. Directly: God speaks to individuals personally (Genesis 26:1). When you hear from heaven, the earth will listen.
  2. Through His Word: Every verse of Scripture carries the voice of God (Isaiah 34:16). Hebrews 10:5–7 emphasizes that there are truths written for you; when you discover them, God’s voice becomes clear. (Psalms 29:3–4; Ephesians 5:26).
  3. By the Holy Spirit: God communicates through the Holy Spirit (John 15:12–13).

How to Access the Voice of God

  1. Be Spiritual: To hear God’s voice, you must be in tune with the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14). Only the spiritual can access His voice. Revelation 1:10 highlights the importance of being in the Spirit.
  2. Walk in the Spirit: Engage in a quality walk in the Spirit, being sensitive to His guidance in your daily life (Galatians 5:25). Spiritual matters respond to spiritual people.
  3. Praise: Cultivate a lifestyle of praise. Joy opens the door to His voice (Isaiah 30:29–31). The enemy seeks to depress you, robbing you of God’s presence and keeping you in captivity.
  4. Prayer and Fasting: Make prayer a vital part of your life (Matthew 6:6–8, 16). It connects you to God’s voice.
  5. Seek the Word: Actively search for God’s Word. Gather materials that inspire you (Hosea 12:10). One word from God can ignite the star within you.
