The unit of destiny is time. Whatever you dedicate your life to, you essentially give a portion of your time — and therefore, your life. Thus, anything that attacks your time is an attack on your life and your destiny.

Three Ways to Engage Time

  1. Waste Time: Allowing time to slip away without purpose.
  2. Spend Time: Using time for activities that may not yield significant returns.
  3. Invest Time: Dedicating time to activities that will yield future benefits.

The highest form of dominion you can exert is dominion over time, as illustrated in Isaiah 38. Remember, not every moment is a convenient time; what you do with your time today shapes your future.

Divine Assistance with Time

God provides two key ways to assist us regarding time: Restoration and Speed. Speed is defined as your rate of accomplishment over time—achieving more in a shorter period, as highlighted in Genesis 27:1–20.

Four Keys to Activate Speed

  1. Wisdom: The effectiveness of your decisions directly influences your time management and speed. Engage wisdom to make better choices. Go the extra mile, do more, and give more, as advised in Matthew 25:1–13.
  2. Favor: Favor is God orchestrating human relationships to help you — granting you unusual kindness and access. Favor is often enhanced by diligence (Proverbs 13:15; Esther 2:8; Exodus 12:36). Timely help is crucial; relationships can achieve what money cannot. Your level of favor is determined by those willing to assist you and care about your journey.
  3. Prayer: Engage in speed-provoking prayers (1 Kings 18:42–46; Psalms 109:26–27). Excuses will keep you stagnant. Pray until something happens.
  4. The Prophetic: As shown in 2 Kings 7:1, the prophetic has two dimensions:
  • Revelatory Dimension: Provides guidance and comfort through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
  • Creative Dimension: Causes extraordinary outcomes that defy expectations.

God works through people, but remember, you don’t choose the instruments He uses; He chooses and directs them.
